Simon will soon be having an operation on his right knee to right an injury caused while at Kakanui – something we have been waiting a few months for now, so it’s quite the relief that it’s finally happening. There will be a fair amount of disruption to our household routines, but all for a good cause. Today heralded the first visit to the Physio who will be helping with the rehabilitation, and while Simon was being taken through some tests I had a moment or two waiting for him in the fairly newly built Unipol Building which is attached to the end of the Stadium. It’s a really lovely space, very modern and bustling, with a fabulous colour scheme, and some gorgeous industrial elements. A rather nice spot for coffee while you wait – I’ll definitely be back.
I would like to extend my deepest thanks to all of you who have reached out with messages of love and support after the passing of my Grandfather. Your words and messages have truly meant a lot to me and my family in this sad time.
Thank you, Joanna x
