It’s been a while since I have knocked together postcards – I use them as notecards when I mail items I have sold from the little minx shops, to write a quick thank you message. I love making things like this, it’s nice to be doing something a little different, and I really like pairing paper with a sewing machine. This time I used a National Geographic from Dec 1978 – two articles, Canada’s Keystone – Ontario and Winterkeeping in Yellowstone. I particularly like the Yellowstone series – the images are just amazing, and have such a gorgeous yet eerie blue light to them. I have to admit to completely loving the phrase Winterkeeping as well. After having been told that Polar Bears will likely become extinct due to the Polar Caps melting, I think I’ll keep that card.
- Thank you for stopping by little minx. I live in a gorgeous Victorian Villa in the Valley in Dunedin, New Zealand, with my beautiful family.
