Jack Frost

We awoke to a blanket of shimmering ice, and a note on the bench saying “don’t leave too early, it’s frozen out there”. The first visit from Jack Frost arrived this morning with a hiss and a roar. The most amazing sunrise has cast a beautiful warm glow over everything, and everywhere you look seems to twinkle back at you as sunlight glances off the frost. A late start for us – but a lovely chance to stop and appreciate the beauty of the harbour on such a day.
