It has been raining for days now. It’s been difficult to dry the house out, and the washing basket is brimming. This morning the sun came out, just for a moment of respite, and to remind me that no matter how much it rains the sun will shine at some point and cast a different light over everything. Now the sky is a moody gray again, and I am in my sewing room with this song stuck in my head, to remind me to remain positive.

I was just lamenting today’s weather as well! I had to take a dry cloth to all the window sills to mop up the drippy water…not to mention the overflowing laundry baskets! It’s supposed to be nicer by the weekend [i hope].
