It’s been a cold and rainy ole day here – there’s a Southerly in town and it hasn’t stopped raining since Friday. The gardens are looking positively soggy and happy. Not the ideal to start to the school holidays, but so it is. The children have spent most of the day building and creating, there have been all manner of block creations across the lounge hedged in with a variety of castles and dolls houses with all sorts of strange and mismatched occupants. We have had a batch of birthdays of late so I disappeared off to the kitchen to decorate some brown paper with yellow and blue geometric patterns fr wrapping. I’ve been meaning to do this for a long time, and was really pleased with the results. Mia is still giggling over the fact that I was doing potato printing!

this is awesome!!!
I remember doing potato prints at school
it’s actually a really cheap and effective way of printing – the kids thought it was hilarious though!
Gorgeous lovely colour combinations . seems autumn has really settled in .
Sure has – and it’s letting us know it 🙂
