It’s been one of those days, one of those “I can’t believe this has happened” days, and I still feel in a bit of a whirl from it. After an enforced month long break I finally got to spend some time at my favourite Op Shop, and found two bags full of extremely (extremely!) gorgeous Vintage fabrics from the 1950’s, 1960’s & 1970’s. It’s hard not to squeal when you find something this good, and there is a strong possibility I did once or twice. Such beautiful fabrics, colours to die for, everything from Thai Silk through Barkcloth and rich cottons, and an array of patterns that make my heart sing. They just don’t make them like this anymore. If there was ever motivation to get me back into the sewing room and back into making this is surely it.
- Thank you for stopping by little minx. I live in a gorgeous Victorian Villa in the Valley in Dunedin, New Zealand, with my beautiful family.
