There has been plenty of reason to be thankful of late for me – thankful for my family, my friends, my health, my heart, my experiences, my sensibility – all of which are feeling very honed at the moment after my rushed visit to hospital. Clarity is a wonderful thing. I have only just started on true thank you’s to all the amazing people I am lucky enough to be surrounded by, who have supported and helped both me and my family – to say I am humbled doesn’t seem to cover it.
So I have started with caring strangers – Nurses. Nurses who made my time in hospital bearable, who care so much about what they are doing, who always make you feel they have the time for you and that you are important, who approach you with a smile and a hand held out. I really don’t think the world would turn without these amazing professionals – and would like to thank them for simply choosing to be there x
