winding up

Tomorrow Reuben starts on the newest part of his journey, off to Intermediate School. The summer has blurred by in such a way, it’s hard to believe the daily rush is about to begin again, and I will freely admit I am not looking forward to it. It has been quite an unsettling time, with Simon finished his studies at University and on the look-out for a job, and Reuben leaving Primary School and moving on to the next stage of his youth, everything feels very uncertain at the moment. I will also admit freely to feeling a little blue with all that is going on. The past two days have been spent at beaches, so good for the soul, firstly Long Beach, and today St Clair Beach with a huddle of friends. There is truly no better way to appreciate the lightness of summer than with picnics and play on the beach. Now, back to reality.

St Clair Beach - Reuben and friends on the waves

St Clair Beach - clouds

St Clair Beach - Mis & her friend Aila in the surf

St Clair Beach - Reubens Sand Sculpture

St Clair Beach - Shark Warning Bell

About little minx

It's a rainy day and in an attempt to slow down and appreciate the little things I have started a blog
