Christmas Encraftment

Well, what a fantastic weekend was had by all in Christchurch! The weather was so beautiful, we arrived to 26 degrees and a hot wind, and it continued like that for the entire time we were there. Simon and the kids spent the entire day on Saturday at Orana Wildlife Park and had an absolute blast of a time. Reuben is proud to say he managed to see 69 of the 70 animals there, and even had the opportunity to experience the “Lion Encounter” where you are inside a steel cage with Lions climbing all over it. His proudest moment was getting Lion drool on his shoulder. As for me, the Christmas Encraftment Market was just fantastic. 70 stall holders selling a stunning range of beautifully made items, all under a huge white marquee in Latimer Square. The organisation was fabulous, the atmosphere was wonderful, the Market was extremely well attended, and my shop is looking very empty right now! I did in my rush manage to forget to take my camera, so please excuse if these pics taken on my phone are not quite up to the usual x
