I really like Street Art – the splash of colour in the midst of such gray utilitarianism, the stamp of self that it suggests, the sheer skill involved in achieving such large pieces. I suspect it’s the urban/industrial aspect of it which really appeals to me, and the Presence that it commands. A city needs to also be of a certain size before it appears – I wonder why that is. Wellington has some stunning examples of Street Art, here are a few spotted on my last visit.
