The Process

I forget, sometimes, that when sewing up new items for little minx there is more time spent choosing, cutting, ironing and pinning than the actual time spent sewing, which of course also fits around the day to day organising. Today was a much appreciated day spent entirely in my work room, and as I hummed along I thought I would capture the process that goes into a day of creating for me. With Craft 2.0 just two weeks away now, there are probably a few extra things happening that wouldn’t normally, like my need for a clear and tidy space. Having said that, I am loving my vintage sewing patterns arranged and in better view.

  1. You’re inspiring me to tidy my sewing room! Maybe if I posted a “before” photo I’d be shamed into actually doing it!

    • Hi Claire – thanks for commenting on my blog! Truth be known I had actually taken a “before” shot with full intentions of including it, but was far too embarassed by it when it came time to post x
