L and M and D

Today was the 50th Wedding Anniversary of Marion and David, my Parents-in-Law, a day full of love and laughter, memories and dedications, gold and the letters L and M and D. M for Marion and Mum, D for David and Dad, L for 50 (in Roman Numerals) and Love. As they didn’t want any presents I sent pieces of Calico cut in a triangle for Bunting to each guest, asking them to write or illustrate a message to Marion and David. The end result was just wonderful, and something I hope they will treasure as a memory of a wonderful day. To two beautiful people, who truly share a life filled with love, Happy Anniversary x
