Now I’m Big

Mia’s Fairy Picnic was a great success with beautiful weather, lovely party guests, generous and wonderful gifts, and a lot of smiles and laughter. We held it in the Dunedin Botanical Gardens, which was a lovely spot to choose, and our gathering certainly attracted a lot of attention from passers-by. After two days of baking the food was looking wonderful, the kids all loved their fairy wings and wore them for the duration of the party, and the wand decorating was a great success. Mia went shy for a bit at the beginning, but soon came to with a little encouragement to open her gifts. When she first got up she asked straight away “am I big now?”, and a great fuss was made over how much she had grown overnight. Now she is 5, and today she is at school. Oh my how fast it all goes by.
