Time for a Break

The focus at the moment is to get a few small things made for my shop, and then stop for two weeks over the holidays and spend un-cluttered time with the kids. We are planning on making our usual “holiday list”, which consists of a wishlist, one item to be done each day. It’s a wonderful way to take a break.

Recently there has been a ot of reason for card making, and, for me, gift making. My gifts for my Mum & Janma, drawstring pouches with hand embroidery made from the linen pillowcase I mentioned here, and my favourite vintage fabric find, the blue and mocha japanese floral.

The pouch is beautiful and the heart sachets/ornaments are very pretty! The card making looks like fun, I hope you have a great holiday with the kids! We’re back from a short trip to see family and looking forward to a few days at home to relax and veg out. Maybe we’ll even do a little crafting.

Thanks so much for a birthday gift that I will treasure forever .A lovely piece of linen was embroidered with the lovely flowers so many years ago ,by a very talented person . To be lost then found again by my talented and loved daughter , and to be made into something else that will be treasured and kept for safe keeping is so wonderful . Thank you sweetheart , there is properly an angel up in heaven smiling down on you feeling very happy .
