Works in Progress

As we have visitors at the moment everything is a little suspended as we enjoy our time together. Today, after a few days of very intense and horrid weather, the sun is shining and it the most beautiful morning. So I wandered around the house taking photo’s of the many, many works-in-progress that seem to be going on around here. Our new heritage apple tree, the daffodils that are starting to shoot towards the sky, the giant hole of earth in our back yard that will soon be home to our Macrocarpa sleepers and raised gardens beds with paving (no, really), the tea-cup hunt for Mia’s birthday party, and my never-decreasing pile of fabrics all waiting to become something. I’m assuming everyone else has a house like this?

What gorgeous photographs Joanna. Your garden is fabulous and those teacups are looking fab. I found a great tute on Martha Stewart today for teacup candles which I can’t wait to try.

ooh, more things to do 🙂
