Nine Years Old

Nine Years Old, in capitals. Yesterday Reuben had his ninth birthday, and as always when your wee ones have a birthday you spend a fair amount of time looking back and appreciating how you got to where you are now. You also spend a bit of time wondering how 9 entire years can have flown past so quickly. He’s growing up far too fast!

He had a lovely day, fantastic gifts from Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles, what a lucky little man. Star Wars was the over-riding theme again, so he is naturally thrilled with that. The day was spent moping around just enjoying the first sun we have had in about 10 days. Later on we had an afternoon tea with his Nana & Grandad, Victoria & Marcel, and Andrea, Alexander & Fiona. A cup of coffee, strawberries & cream,  and the requested chocolate cake that was still so fresh from the oven it was steaming slightly when cut open.

About little minx

It's a rainy day and in an attempt to slow down and appreciate the little things I have started a blog

Happy Birthday my special little nephew ! Cake looks yumm Joanna, I love your blog – the photos make me very homesick for New Zealand. Most inspiring for me at the moment is of course your wedding – you can see your personalities in each one. Thats what I want ! Now just got to figure it out lol.
