At the beginning of each holiday the kids and I sit down and write a list of things they would like to do across the break, then we work through the list crossing off one activity a day. This holiday I threw in a new one find a new beach – and we did. This may be my new favourite place, we have been there twice in the last three days. The first visit lasted five hours, with both Reuben & Mia completely immersed in the beach, ocean, rocks, wildlife, and surrounding walks. We came home and talked non-stop of Seal sightings, rock climbing adventures, and the best places to swim. Today we visited again with the weather not being quite as soft and sweet as the first time, but once we had built a small rock wall around our picnic blanket we were perfectly cosy. Karitane x
