Day Two of the School Holidays is coming to an end. It always seems to take a few days to wind down into the break, especially at the end of the year. The first day the kids seem to find all sorts of toys that they have forgotten about across the year, and for a while the kitchen table was completely covered in dolls houses, castles, and battle lines involving quite the array of characters. Today, however, we did what we will most likely be doing a lot over the next 7 weeks, and headed over the hill for a few hours at Long Beach. A beautifully warm day, a picnic, cups of tea on the picnic blanket, and a long stroll up the beach to the rocks. Yep, quite possibly our happy place.
