Sunday night was the Classic Hits Winery Tour at Logan Park, with a stellar line up of Avalanche City, The Mutton Birds, and Gin Wigmore and a close to 2300 people attending even though the weather was busy being naughty. Simon quietly entered us in a competition to win VIP passes and we actually won. We were treated to our own seated area right in front of the sound desk (my perfect spot at any gig!), and a meet-and-greet with an artist which turned out to be Avalanche City, much to the kids delight. All three acts were just amazing, and I am now a confirmed Avalanche City fan, they were really fantastic live, and a nice bunch of people to boot. The Mutton Birds always deliver, and Gin, well, Gin is Gin! It was a great night, the kids first proper concert, and what an experience for them. Mia asked me on the way home, what my favourite part was, and that was hard to choose to be honest. I think for her it may have been the fact that she danced for 4 solid hours.. both kids are still tired!
