Home – Northern Cemetary

A new series, something I have been meaning to begin for a while – Home, photographs from around my home town, Dunedin.

The Northen Cemetary – home to 17,700 burials, established in the mid 1800′s, and resting place of William Larnach and Thomas Bracken. William Larnach is famous for many things, but largely for being rather big with his spending, and having a very dramatic family history. Thomas Bracken, an Irishman settled in Dunedin, founded and wrote in newspapers, wrote poems, and penned our National Anthem.

Home – With this series, I aim to include a post once a week that is simply the visual side of Dunedin, a moment captured. I hope you enjoy it.
